After days of terrential rain, the sun finally (and luckily) came out a couple of hours before Steve and Ronnog were due to perform.

The visual treat of Steve and Ronnog's acrobatics drew in a crowd, and stopped passers-by on their way home from work as we had hoped.

D/D/B&M invite you to join them on your way home from work, for a live performance in St James’ Park, London, on Wednesday 30th May at 6.30pm.

Steve and Ronnog Seaberg have just celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary. Their relationship is at the centre of every show. On Wednesday they will be sharing their acrobatic poetry with London for the first time, despite having performed internationally for over a decade.

As acrobats and partners they need to have enormous respect for each other's resources and weaknesses.

Their demonstrations are based around trust and physical collaboration. They can be viewed both as a temporary sculpture and as a performance. Steve and Ronnog place an emphasis upon the way they use their body and how it is manipulated as part of the work.

Steve is a visual artist, performance artist, painter, sculptor, musician and art critic from the USA. Ronnog is from Sweden, a published poet, critic, novelist and performance artist. They started performing as a couple but now also work with groups of others, including grandchildren, musicians,art students and a group of naked performers.

Based in Atlanta, the Seabergs have shown across North America and Europe, in Los Angeles, New York (inc. The Knitting Factory), Chicago (inc. The Green Mill), Toronto, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Sweden, Denmark and Berlin. They have also appeared in Wim Wenders' 2003 film ‘The Soul of a Man’.
